Default Now you can all relax

Ok, even though i didnt have a problem with them, many of you did not like the damage text sizes. In the most recent update they have added an option to change the size of the numbers. Now, you can all be quiet, revel in your victory and go back and play the game.

Well that was a pointless flame bait of a thread you just started.

Well I guess thats good. I was not one of those that was ever really bothered by the number size, but making it an option is a good thing, means that Anet DOES listen to players concerns!

Quite harshly worded, obviously as a vent of your own there

/agree OP..thanks to the whining, the new damage numbers were changed. I for one liked them, and am now afraid of what else will be changed due to the incessant whining that goes on in this forum like a room full of spoiled first graders.

They aren't so bad ... once you get used to them (and have your camera zoomed out just a bit).

The option to change is in Menu -> Options?

I didn't mind the large numbers. They made Death Blossom look imbalanced.

the new control is a slider you can make the numbers smaller (I think even a bit smaller than they used to be) or even BIGGER! yes, when fully zoomed out you can now make the numbers look as big as your character.

Kudos to Anet for a solution that should work for both those that liked the new numbers and those who wanted them smaller. (and for that yet undiscovered group that wanted really huge numbers). Thanks Anet.

(Incidentally the slider is labeled Damage Text Size, and it applies to healing and energy numbers as well)

Thing that bugs me is you guys bitch about something so small an petty and get it yet we still do not have things more people would like like appearance changes.

I bet if the PvP players wanted appearance changes Anet would jump through hoops for them.

Seriously, how are you complaining about an update that gives you the OPTION to have it both ways? I can kind of understand most complaints, but this ISN'T EVEN A REAL CHANGE!!! You can do whatever you want to with it! Closed.
